A blog tour is basically a series of reviews from book bloggers. There can be anywhere between 5 and 20 bloggers over a set number of days. Depending on the number that sign up, it can be 2 or 3 bloggers a day for between 5 and 7 days. There will also be extract requests and Q and A’s.
As bloggers can have thousands of followers potentially, this gives a massive reach to getting word of your book out there.
All you will need to do is provide the book blurb and the pre-order link, and any pictures you have, and Zoé will do the rest.
Interview – Donna Morfett
Around the release date of your book, you can be interviewed by Donna. This is done over Zoom and recorded. It is not live, so there is less pressure. You will be asked questions about your journey to becoming an author, about your book, what you have done before and what is coming next and some more fun questions to get to know more about you. They can be as short or long as you need. You can do a short reading if you like. This will be posted on various book groups, Donna’s group Donnas Interviews Reviews and Giveaways, YouTube, Instagram and the audio file goes onto a Podcast.
Before the book is released, we can create a build up to the release of the cover. This will involve book bloggers/influencers all sharing a teaser in the lead up to a set date (decided by you) and then a reveal by all at the same time on that date.
Once the cover is released, promotional posts can be created with the cover, release date, and any of the best early reviews from arc readers.
A marketing video can also be created which gives your book more visibility.
QMP have a Facebook page, Instagram, and Twitter. The promotional and marketing team each have their own social media accounts, and when the promotional materials are released, the bloggers will each share them to their own social media platforms.
Question Mark Press is all about helping authors to publish their books, and continue to market them from there onwards.
We are not a publisher, but a free service to help authors: From their initial novel ideas, to completing their manuscript, publishing their book, and market it afterwards, all under one place. We don’t do editing or cover design, but can put you in contact with professionals who do.
We’re a community and a support network who understand the ups and downs of self-publishing.
This is for first time authors, or self-publishers who want that encouraging feeling of a publisher.
